Scheduling an Appointment: To schedule an appointment for your child, please call during regular business hours. Should you activate our voice messaging system, please leave a brief message and we will return your call promptly. Our office staff will make every attempt to schedule appointments at your convenience.
Preschool children should be seen in the mornings because they are fresher and we can allow more time to work slowly with the child to ensure they have a positive experience. School children who have a lot of dental work to be completed should also be scheduled in the mornings for the same reason. Dental appointments are an excused absence and your child will be given a written excuse for his/her school. Routine check-ups at the dentist can help keep missed school days at a minimum.
Since appointment times are reserved exclusively for each patient we ask that you please notify our office 24 hours in advance of your child's scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep it. Another child who needs our care could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things can occur, but we ask for your assistance in this regard. We also ask that you make every effort to arrive on time, as arriving late may require us to delay or reschedule your child's visit. It is preferred that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the appointment time to complete any needed medical or dental questions.
Your time is valuable, as is ours. It is our goal to run a very smooth and efficient office environment and schedule; each and every patient’s promptness is important to make this happen. If two appointments are missed without notifying our office, you will unfortunately be dismissed from our practice.
Am I allowed to accompany my child?
If time is available, we would be honored to show you our state of the art, brand new facility. During treatment and for future restorative or sedation appointments, we ask that you please remain in the waiting room. Your child is in the excellent hands of our caring staff and doctors and research has shown that children generally behave much better when the parents stay in the waiting room.
In an effort to increase access for the young children in need, we are currently participating with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration Children’s Medicaid Program. Enrollment for the program is provided by the Department of Children and Families and if eligible, the care provided is free with no co-payments.
